Under the coordinatorship of the Ankara Hacı Bayram University, Bursa Technical University English Translation and Interpretation Department, has participated in an EU project put forward by the cooperation involving Kafkas University, Trabzon University and Adana Alparslan Türkeş University. The project, accepted by the Turkish National Agency, under the title of "ACQUIST: Advancing Capabilities and Quality in EU Acquis Translation", is a K130 Higher Education Mobility Concortium Accreditation application. The project basically aims to improve translation practices and to enhance translators' and interpreters' abilities. As the translators and interpreters facilitate easier communication between EU and Türkiye, this projects bears a notable importance. Through this accreditation, we have increased Erasmus internship opportunities for our students and teaching and training opportunities for our staff.
