BTU-IMEP

Bursa Technical University Vocational Education in the Enterprise Program (BTÜ-IMEP) provides students with an education model that is designed in partnership with the relevant sector, managed together and implemented in the workplace.

In this model, students are given the opportunity to recognise and apply the basic academic knowledge and concepts learned at school in the field. Thus, the basic knowledge acquired at school is reinterpreted together with field studies.

The preparation process of this model has been meticulously carried out in consultation with the human resources departments of distinguished companies, universities implementing similar joint training models and our faculty members. At the same time, the final form of the BTU-IMEP model was put forward by taking into account the functioning of foreign universities where similar approaches are used.

Starting from their 7th semester, students are provided with experience in business environments where they will have the opportunity to work when they graduate. Within the scope of BTU-IMEP, a unique opportunity is also offered to our students.

Bursa Technical University Department of Sociology students have the privilege of gaining experience in the sector they will work in during the semester by participating in the IMEP program in the 7th semester of their education.
